Student Senate Budget Book

What is the Budget Book?

The Student Senate Budget Book outlines how we use the Required Campus Fees to serve campus and promote the needs of students. Revenue from the Required Campus Fees totals around $24 million. Core services include subsidized healthcare for students through Watkins Health Center and Counseling & Psychological Services; free bus services within campus and to campus through KU Transportation Services and Lawrence Transit; operation and maintenance of the Memorial Unions and the Ambler Student Recreation & Fitness Center; and much more. Our budget is set in the spring of each year for the next fiscal year, as KU fiscal years run from August to July.
