Student Senate Constitution

The Constitution delineates the structure, officers, members, and rules of the KU Student Senate. The Student Senate is empowered to formulate rules and regulations, codified in the Constitution, by Article III, Section 5 of the University Senate Code. The Student Senate revised the Constitution in the 2024–25 academic year, based on the proceedings of the Constitutional Review Committee of 2025 (established by Bill 2025-041).

Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities

The Code of Student Rights and Responsibilities outlines the rights of students and many of the standards of conduct expected within the University of Kansas community.

The Code details the organization, structure, responsibilities, and membership of Governance committees and boards, describes amendment procedures and information.
