Meeting Schedule
All meetings of the Legislative Branch of Student Senate are open to the public, and all students have the right to speak on matters before the Legislative Branch.
The Legislative Branch of Student Senate operates on a two-week cycle:
- Week one: Student Councils. The Finance Council, Community Affairs Council, and Student Rights & Affairs Council meet on the first Wednesday of the cycle.
- Week two: Student Executive Council and Students’ Assembly. The Assembly meets on the last Wednesday of the cycle. The Student Executive Council meets the Tuesday before, at 6:30 PM in Alderson Auditorium.
- Community Development Fund (CDF) Board. It meets the Tuesday before the Student Councils, at 6:30 PM in Alderson Auditorium.
The deadlines for submissions to be considered are as follows:
- Legislation Submission: Sunday before the Student Councils meet, 5:00 PM
- Wednesday Night Funding: Friday before the Student Councils meet, 5:00 PM
- CDF Funding: Friday before the Student Councils meet, 5:00 PM
Meetings are held in person and livestreamed. Agendas are posted before each meeting, and minutes are posted after approval. Dates and rooms are subject to change.
