Funds from the Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Fund must be used for events that foster an inclusive and multicultural environment for students and student events; funds shall be allocated by the Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Fund Committee and administered by Student Senate to student groups primarily for the purposes of funding programs that embody the explorations and engagement of students in diversity programming.
The Student DEI Fund is designed to provide programming to appropriate students and student organizations throughout the University of Kansas community on issues surrounding such topics focused around diversity, inclusion and social justice.
- Step 1: Set up a meeting with the Treasurer at least 4 weeks in advance:
- Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up this meeting.
Step 2: Present to DEI Fund committee
- Please prepare a short 2-3 minute presentation for Finance Committee and Full Senate in-person. Any presentations with pictures and flyers help show that you are an active group on campus (examples can be provided if requested).
