Kianna Csölle

Kianna is originally from Canada and earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia before becoming a certified Primary Care Paramedic. Her experiences in healthcare inspired her to pursue a Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science and a Master of Public Health through the University of Kansas. Building on this foundation, Kianna is now pursuing her PhD in Applied Behavioral Science.

As Graduate Student Body President, Kianna is committed to amplifying the voices of graduate and professional students while fostering meaningful engagement across the graduate community. She believes effective leadership begins with listening, building collaborative relationships, and creating opportunities for students to connect, contribute, and feel a genuine sense of belonging at KU.

Kianna's professional interests center on improving the health and well-being of underserved communities by advancing equitable, evidence-based supports for people with substance use disorders and autistic individuals.

Whether advocating for graduate students, advancing equitable public health policy, or supporting autistic individuals in developing meaningful life skills, Kianna is driven by a commitment to empowering others, removing barriers, and creating communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
