Biography

Francisco Zuloaga Cosme is a Ph.D. candidate in Marketing at the University of Kansas School of Business, where he is expected to graduate in May 2027. Francisco's research examines how consumers make decisions based on information signals that are deliberately corrupted or potentially harmful to act on. His research draws on empirical modeling, formal game theory, and text analysis, and includes a co-authored paper on sustainability conditionally accepted at the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science.

Before entering the doctoral program, Francisco earned a BA & MA in philosophy and economics, respectively. He grew up in Matamoros, Mexico, and is bilingual in Spanish and English.
