Angel Rivera

Angel Rivera is a PhD Candidate in the School of Public Affairs and Administration and a University Graduate Fellow. He holds both a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His current research is in Human Resources Management and Historical Public Administration. As a previous Senator of the UNC Charlottes Graduate and Professional Student Government, as well as the former Domestic Graduate Student Representative and University Senator at KU, Angel brings years of student government experience. He is delighted to bring this knowledge to the Graduate Student Advisory Board and continue his work in advancing graduate student interests.
