Biography

Shawn Khokher is a PhD candidate in the School of Architecture and Design. He was born and raised in Kansas and has been a member of the School of Architecture and Design since 2015 earning a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies, a Master of Architecture, and a Master of Arts in Architecture. He has served as a graduate student representative on a faculty search committee for the school and presently serves as a graduate teaching assistant at the School of Engineering. Shawn’s research area is the multidisciplinary study of additively manufactured sustainable alternatives to concrete incorporating next-generation insulation materials. He was nominated to the Graduate Student Advisory Board by the school’s Graduate Program Director, Dilshan Ossen, and he looks forward to representing the interests of the school moving forward.
