Eric Martinez (he/him/his) is a senior from Kansas on a pre-law track majoring in Political Science and minoring in History and Spanish. Before serving as Government Relations Director, Eric was elected as a College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Student Senator. As a first-generation student, Eric has participated and has been an advocate for the Center for Educational Opportunity Programs such as TRIO. He previously spent a semester in Washington D.C. interning for the Office of Political Affairs at the Mexican Embassy. The office is responsible for addressing human rights, education, and general political affairs that arise between Mexico and the United States. Eric has also worked with local, state, and national campaigns.
