FEBRUARY

 

2/1: Official start of Election

2/22: 5:00 PM Filing Deadline--Coalition Official Registration

     *Coalitions must officially register by submitting the Coalition Registration Document to the Elections Commission, by 5:00 pm on the Friday that is seven (7) calendar weeks prior to the week of the General Election.

 

MARCH

 

3/18: 5:00 PM Filing Deadline--Presidential/Vice-Presidential declaration of candidacy

    *The filing deadline for Presidential/Vice-Presidential tickets shall be 5:00 pm on the Monday that is three (3) calendar weeks prior to the week of the General Election.

3/25: 5:00 PM Filing Deadline--Coalition Charter

3/25: 5:00 PM Filing Deadline--Senatorial candidates

    * The filing deadline for Senatorial candidates shall be 5:00 pm on the Monday that is two (2) calendar weeks prior to the week of the General Election.

3/25: 6:00 PM--Pres/VP Debate in Ballroom

*The debate shall be held two (2) weeks before the week of the election. The date of the debate shall be announced at least two (2) weeks before the scheduled time of the debate. The Elections Commission Chair shall moderate the debate.

 

APRIL

 

4/10: 6:00 AM--Election begins

4/10 and 4/11: Tabling is permitted in academic buildings.

4/11: 4:00 PM--Election​ ends

4/12: 5:00 PM Deadline--Final Financial Report due

4/12: 5:00 PM--All campaign materials must be removed.

 

All deadlines are strictly enforced by the Elections Commission.
