CLAS - Liberal Arts & Sciences Senators
The fourteen College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Senators represent the largest group of students on campus, those within Liberal Arts & Sciences. CLAS Senators are broken up into two groups - Junior / Senior, and Freshman / Sophomore.

Jessica Brooks
Originally from Rich Hill, Missouri and is in her second year at the University of Kansas. Currently, she is majoring in Environment Studies and International Studies. She is President and Founder of Corporate Accountability International at KU that is leading the "Think Outside the Bottle" campaign this year. Other involvement on campus includes University Senate, Engineers Without Borders, Supportive Educational Services, and potentially enrolling in salsa lessons.

Andrea Peterson
Andrea is a senior majoring in Political Science, East Asian Languages and Cultures, and International Studies from Manhattan, KS. She's a little too involved in student groups, including KU Students Against Sweatshops and Commission on the Status of Women among others and serves as a member of the University Senate Executive Committee(Senex) and as University Senate Vice President. In her time off of campus she is known to work for an unnamed government entity and occasionally bake.

Ian McGonigle
I am a Sophomore from Wichita, Kansas. Currently, I am studying business and plan on double majoring in finance and accounting. This is my second year serving as a student senator and I am also involved with the student fee review sub-committee, academic services board, and university senate. I am also a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. During my free time, I like to play basketball, hang out with friends, travel, and when I have the money, skydive.

I am a Sophomore from Overland Park, Kansas. I am double majoring in Philosophy and International Studies and minoring in Arabic. I am the philanthropy chair of my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, the treasurer of Oxfam KU, a member of Lambda Sigma Sophomore Honors Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, KU Honors Program, University Senate, and, of course, am a Freshman/ Sophomore Senator for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I also enjoy doing yoga and the UDK crossword puzzle.
