Primary office:

Mattie Carter (She/Her/Hers) is a senior studying Journalism and Political Science. In addition to serving as Student Body Vice President, Mattie serves as University Senate Vice President and Student Senate President, acting as the Parliamentarian during Student Senate meetings. Some of Mattie’s priorities include holding Senators more accountable, revitalizing the Student Senate Committees, and creating a student emergency fund. Prior to being elected, Mattie served as the Student Rights Committee Chair and worked to re-write the Student Code of Rights and Responsibilities to include protections for students who experience off-campus violence.
