Rules and Regulations (also known as SSRR, for Student Senate Rules and Regulations), refers to the document of rules and policies by which Student Senate operates. A new edition of SSRR is published at the beginning of every Senate year.
According to SSRR 3.3.1, "The rules contained in Roberts’ Rules of Order (Newly Revised) shall govern unless otherwise contradicted by Student Senate Rules and Regulations." Robert's Rules of Order is a collection of standard parliamentary procedures, with rules and guidelines for the orderly conduct of business and debate for groups like Student Senate.
