Where Do Your Fees Go?

On an annual basis, the Student Senate Fee Review Subcommittee decides on the required campus fees of the subsequent year. Each fee is overseen by a separate department on campus, and each department must reapply ever year for student fee money. The voting members of the Fee Review Subcommittee are 9 appointees from the Student Senate Legislative Committees, as well as the Graduate Affairs Director and the Student Senate Assistant Treasurer. The chair of the Finance Committee chairs the Fee Review Subcommittee. Fee Review meetings are open to all students at the University of Kansas. Fee Review meetings are held in the Spring.
