Student Rights (Rights) Committee
ANY STUDENT at the University of Kansas can be a voting member of a standing committee!
Rights focuses on protecting students as dictated under the Code of Student's Rights and Responsibilities. It addresses legsislation that upholds the ideas, lifestyles and roles of students.
If you attend the FIRST meeting of the year (Wednesday August 27, 2008) you will have voting rights immediately. If not, you will not recieve voting rights until you attend your second committee meeting. If you are a student senator you are required to be a part of one standing committee (exception: Graduate, Law, Non-Traditional, University Senators).
